Baccarat strategy

This game is one of the easiest games you will play at a casino. There are just two hands, the bankers and the players hand and you have the freedom to lay a bet on either of the two hands. You can also lay a bet known as the "tie" which basically means you are betting that the bankers hand will equal the player's hand.

Whilst there is not certain method to win at Baccarat, there are some basic strategies you can use to help lady luck move more to your direction!

It is not a good idea to bet on tie. That should be your last option. It is extremely rare to win a tie. Remember that on tie the house has an edge of 15.75%. That's a huge edge, are you sure you want to bet with odds like that?

If you bet on the players hand the house has an edge of 1.29%

If you bet on the Bank hand, the house has an edge of 1.01%

From the above statistics, it is safe to assume that the Bank hand wins most often. So even though they take a 5% commission, it seems like a good option to bet on the banker's hand. Obviously you will not want to keep betting on the bankers hand every game. You are free to bet on any hand but keep in mind that the best odds lay in betting on the banker's hand. You have good odds if you want to bet on the players hand but you are definitely taking a big gamble if you bet on a tie as this will only occur once every 10 hands.
